Sometimes we are a little surprised that our guests do not immediately choose the mountain SPA area as their favourite place after outdoor activities. This is probably due to the comfortably beautiful rooms and suites, which appeal to body and soul in timeless elegance. Enough free space to review the day in Obertauern, near Salzburg. The Hotel Steiner is a modern 4-star superior hotel in Obertauern. Situated at 1,752 metres above sea level, it combines family-friendly facilities, a mountain spa with family and adults-only areas, and a ‘GENUSS’ full-board package all under one roof. The hotel caters for families, couples and active holidaymakers — in winter for skiing and other winter sports, and in summer for hiking, cycling and enjoying the mountains.

The Hotel Steiner offers both: the ‘Immerwieder’ adults-only suite and a separate relaxation area in the BergSPA are specifically designed for adults without children. At the same time, there are family apartments, childcare and play areas. Whether you’re a couple looking for some peace and quiet or a family wanting plenty to do – both can be enjoyed here at the same time.

The Hotel Steiner combines a family-run approach with a fully-fledged spa area and full board throughout the day. The Steiner family, who run the hotel, are always on hand, lending the hotel a personal touch that goes beyond the anonymous nature of many hotels. Long-serving staff and the motto ‘Herzglut’ stand for quality and continuity.
The full full Board package includes a varied breakfast served until 12:00, a diverse lunch buffet and a multi-course evening meal — all available from 07:30 to 20:00. This means you’re catered for all day long without having to eat outside the hotel. The kitchen focuses on regional, Alpine-inspired ingredients and authentic cooking.
