An indoor playground in a hotel? Exactly!

Sand play, gymnastics, running around, climbing, arts and crafts: Because the weather can sometimes be bad, we have moved our playground indoors. It’s a great place to play even in winter and when it rains. Playing and digging in the sand playground. Swinging and scrambling in the forest playground.

How should we describe this “mythical creature”? Not at all easy. Perhaps like a large aquarium that is partly filled with sand or mud. With hidden treasures to dig and amusing water games. With sand toys to dig, build, search and find. Doesn’t just sound like a lot of fun, but perhaps also a bit of dirt in the eyes and ears of concerned parents? Don’t worry. Of course, not getting dirty or cleaning up is taken care of. With an ingenious sluice system.

For those who want to know exactly, we’ll tell you this much:
Sluice1: This is the cloakroom, with muddy trousers, rubber boots (also for adults), towels etc.
Sluice 2: With brushes that the kids can walk over, the coarse dirt is removed from the feet. Hands are also cleaned with a hairdryer.
Sluice 3: An area with a stream bed as warm as a brook, where clean water flows and a small spring invites you to wash your hands. To get children’s hands and feet clean again. Sounds like a fun, clean thing to do. It is. Well then, off to the fun

It’s not just playing in the sand together that sweetens a family holiday in Salzburger Land for young and old.
