Beatles and Obertauern. A perfect match!
The evenings of the Lungau Pop Factory of the Lungau Cultural Association thrilled the audience, transported back to Liverpool in the 1960s with a firework display of Beatles classics. Under the direction of Gerold “Fio” Fingerlos and Fritz Messner, this unique music project repeatedly brings together music artists and milestones of pop music, the last two focal points were dedicated to “Woodstock” and “Love Songs”. Now the Sergeant Eachtling’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is coming to Obertauern, 18 musicians from Lungau (including Matthias and Fritz Messner from the Querschlägern, Nane Frühstückl, Herbert Hofer and Hubert Pertl from the Lungau Big Band) and with them lots of Beatles hits in their luggage, absolutely worth seeing and hearing!

The Beatles could already do a lot at that time, but skiing was not one of them, so they were doubled by locals. The Beatles loved it in Obertauern, so much so that they even got carried away with a more or less secret private concert in a hotel in Obertauern. And yes, we still have an “earworm” Heeeeeeeellllllllppppp….
