Bike Area
If you’ve never been to a bike park before or want to work on your technique, the Bike Area Planai is the right place for you!
For bike park newbies, the Bike Area Planai is the first address to learn and improve the basics of downhill-orientated mountain biking with a guide before setting off on the long trails in the bike park.
Children can borrow bikes and equipment from the neighbouring bike hire shop before the little ones can do their laps in the bike area.
The conveyor belt takes you back up to the start in comfort and safety.
Uphill Flow Trail
The Uphill Flow Trail will put a big smile on your face as you ride uphill, whether you’re on a mountain bike or e-MTB! Once at the top, you can tackle the downhill flow line after a refreshment.
Is there a charge for the trail?
As with all trails in Bikepark Schladming, a trail ticket is required. For all those who have a bike ticket for the cable car, the Uphill Trail is of course included. All those who want to explore the bike park without cable car support pay €7 bike park admission.
How much does an Uphill Flow Trail ticket cost?
The Uphill Flow Trail is included in a valid bike ticket; without a bike ticket, admission to the bike park costs € 7. This can be purchased at the Planai ticket offices or at the vending machine at the start portal.
Is there a discount for Sommercard holders?
There is no discount on the trail ticket for € 7, but there is a discount on the cable car tickets with the Sommercard. You can find all prices here!
How difficult is the Uphill Flow Trail?
Anyone who can safely master forest roads in the mountains will also feel comfortable on this trail.
Peak Flowline
The Flowline in the Bikepark Schladming is perfect for beginners and children can also do their first runs in the bike park here, but experienced riders will also get their money’s worth here!
The intuitive lines help riders to find their way around the terrain and also set the right speed. So nothing stands in the way of a successful bike excursion!
Pro Downhill
The downhill course on the Planai has long been legendary. Full speed and jumps alternate with tricky root passages. The start is at 1,830 metres and can be reached with the Planai cable car. Then it’s down to business in natural surroundings. Steep sections with roots and stones lead past the reservoir to the middle station at 1,325 metres where there is a washing area and the most necessary tools.
Stadium Flowline
The first section leads over undulations and steep bends to the main road. From there, a completely new route is still under construction, which you can bypass via a short section on the country road. The last section also takes you over a new trail directly to the Planai finish stadium.
99 Jumpline und Monster Jumpline
The Jumpline in the Bikepark Schladming is the holy grail for whippers and stylers. Over 3.5 kilometres, there is plenty of airtime on perfectly constructed jumps with a length of 3 to 8 metres. If that’s not enough, you can turn onto the monster line at the end, where really big booters up to 12 metres long await.
