If you stay in your room for long, it’s your own fault! Where there is a lively hustle and bustle on the pistes in winter, there are the most wonderful hiking dreams in summer. On foot, you make your way to idyllic spots in the heart of the Radstädter Tauern in Salzburger Land. As you rest by a crystal-clear mountain lake, your gaze sweeps across the snow-capped peaks in the distance, the rich green of the meadows and the blue of the sky – and this feeling of peace and happiness comes over you … Yes, this is what it looks like, the summer holiday in Obertauern, at 1,752 metres above sea level.

Saddle fast surprises await friends of the two-wheeled sport. Because who would have thought that Obertauern has quietly and secretly developed into a mecca for mountain bikers? That there is “enough mountain” in Obertauern probably doesn’t need to be told to anyone. But the fact that no less than six pretty cool mountain bike tours, in different lengths, with different degrees of difficulty, have been created and are more than appreciated by sports enthusiasts, should perhaps be noted briefly.

The finely spruced up Lungau and Radstadt golf clubs. The 18-hole golf clubs Goldegg and St. Johann are only about 35 minutes away by car. And because we want to go one better at the end, we’ll tell you the best thing anyway. And just say: a virtual golf experience is available directly from us, thanks to the golf simulator it doesn’t matter whether it’s raining or snowing, you’ll always work up a sweat here.
