From 28 November to 21 December 2025, Tauernadvent in Obertauern transforms Obertauern into an atmospheric Alpine setting full of warm light, fragrant delicacies and genuine winter magic every weekend. During Advent, something very special awaits you at Untertauern Wildlife Park: the Contemplative Advent Trail.
On two atmospheric evenings – Monday, 8 December and Monday, 22 December 2025 – the wildlife park is transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland. Along the lovingly designed circular trail, various stations invite you to enjoy contemplative music, touching readings, traditional crafts, regional delicacies and special experiences for children.

Exclusive skiing experience in Obertauern
The summit is yours. The panorama is yours. Not a sound except for the crunching snow beneath your feet. Together with locals, you will be the first to open the slopes and round off the morning with an alpine brunch.
Obertauern fulfils a very special skiing dream. Join the locals on the mountain before everyone else and enjoy the perfect, freshly groomed slopes and the first rays of sunshine. Conquer the dance floor against the majestic mountain backdrop of Obertauern with an exclusive dance course lasting up to four days. None other than Corinna Kamper and Danilo Campisi, known from the Austrian dance show ‘Dancing Stars’, will show you how to dance elegantly and with joy.
Immerse yourself in a new world of undreamt-of possibilities and discover the stylistic diversity of classical dances – from the charming waltz to the rousing tango to the lively disco fox.

For the eighth time, highly motivated female skiers will meet in Obertauern, Austria’s snowiest winter sports resort, on the weekend of 10-12 April 2026 to make a statement and support the Pink Ribbon campaign for Austrian Cancer Aid. Together with Atomic, Obertauern is organising the SHESKIS Women’s Ski Day with around 100 participants.
